Coming soon — paid subscriptions are not yet available. Scratch Copilot is free during early access. The plans below will be available when paid subscriptions launch. We will announce any reduction in free usage limits in advance.

Use programming assistance, AI block comments, and educator feedback. You can make up to 50 successful AI requests per day across these features. Daily AI spending limits and rate limits also apply, so you may reach a limit before completing 50 requests. The daily limits reset at 00:00 UTC. Project comparison does not use AI.

Usage limits at launch

Each successful request for a chat response, block comment, or educator feedback counts as one AI request. All AI features share the same monthly allowance. Failed requests do not count toward your monthly allowance, but rate limits still apply.

Free plan allowances reset on the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Paid plan allowances reset at the start of each monthly billing period. Unused requests do not roll over. If you reach your total AI limit, you will need to wait until your allowance resets to use AI features again. You will not be charged for exceeding your allowance.

Billing and cancellation at launch

The monthly subscription will renew automatically at $5.99 USD per month, plus applicable taxes shown at checkout. If you pay in another currency, the total will be shown before you confirm payment. Your subscription will be linked to the Scratch Copilot account you use to make the purchase.

You will be able to cancel your subscription using the management link in your order confirmation email. Canceling stops future renewals. You will keep paid access until the end of your billing period unless you receive a full refund. When paid access ends, your account returns to the free plan. Cancellation does not delete your Scratch projects.
