Refund Policy

Updated October 20, 2026

Paid subscriptions are not yet available. This policy will apply when paid subscriptions launch.

Refund requests within 14 days

You can request a refund within 14 calendar days of your first subscription payment or any renewal charge. Each request is reviewed individually, taking into account how much of the service you have used, why you are requesting a refund, and any technical issues you have experienced. Depending on the circumstances, you may receive a full refund, a partial refund, or no refund.

The 14-day window is a period for requesting a refund, not a money-back guarantee. If you have used your entire allowance for the billing period, you are not automatically entitled to a refund. Your rights under applicable law and the seller's terms are unaffected.

After the 14-day period, please contact us if you believe you were charged incorrectly, were charged twice for the same purchase, or could not access the paid service because of a technical issue. We will review the issue and arrange a refund where appropriate.

How to request a refund

Email support@scratchcopilot.org with the email address you used at checkout, the order reference from your receipt, and a brief explanation of the issue. Do not send your full card number, password, or private student information. You can also contact the payment provider using the support link on your receipt.

We aim to respond within three business days. Approved refunds are issued by the seller or payment provider to your original payment method. How long it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on the provider and your bank. We will share the estimated processing time when your refund is issued.

Cancellation and access

Canceling your subscription stops future renewals but does not automatically refund a previous payment. To cancel, use the subscription management link in your order confirmation email before your next renewal date. Unless you receive a full refund, you will keep paid access until the end of your billing period.

If you receive a full refund, your subscription is canceled, future renewals stop, and your account returns to the free plan. A refund does not delete or modify your Scratch projects.

If a partial refund is approved, we will explain how it affects your paid access and future renewals.

Your rights

This policy does not limit your statutory consumer rights, including any right to withdraw from a purchase or receive a refund. The seller's terms shown at checkout also apply. If applicable law or those terms give you additional rights, you retain those rights.
